Crown Princess Margareta addressing Romanians: Thanks to you, these days will remain in history

The Custodian of the Romanian Crown, Princess Margareta, sent a new message to the Romanian people on Tuesday, thanking the citizens for their affection and compassionate thoughts shown on the occasion of King Michael’s funerals. “Thanks to you, these last days of mourning will remain in the contemporary history,” Crown Princess Margareta says in a message.

“I send to you all grateful thanks for the distinguished words, for the affection and compassionate thoughts that you have shown on the sad occasion of my father’s demise.

King Michael was a wonderful father, a morality model and a pillar of our country’s contemporary history. Loyal, fair and generous, the King has always proved a steadfast commitment towards the Nation and the Crown.

We all have been bond to one another these days, proud, grieving and closely related in our souls,” reads her message.

“The same principles and feelings as my father’s will guide the Romanian Royal Family from now on.

Thank you for the strength of your love and for the peerless attachment that you have shown to our King, during his last days on earth. Thanks to you, these last days of mourning will remain in the contemporary history,” the princess concluded, signing the Custodian of the Romanian Crown.
