Donald Trump Jr., one of the sons of the President of the United States of America, is coming to Romania on April 28 for an event dedicated to the business environment. The information was first reported by G4 Media.
Donald Trump Jr. is to participate in an Eastern European tour that includes the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia and Bulgaria, in addition to Romania. The eldest son of the US president has no scheduled meetings with Romanian politicians. The first round of the presidential elections will take place on May 4, and the event that Trump Jr. is to attend will be organized a week before.
Donald Trump Jr. in December described the CCR’s decision to annul last year’s presidential election as “another Soros-Marxist attempt to manipulate the result.” “Wow, look what’s happening in Romania! The Constitutional Court just annulled the first round of the presidential election. Another Soros/Marxist attempt to manipulate the result and deny the will of the people.”
In the post, he also wrote: “She (Lsconi’s note) will lose and they know it.”
In early March, independent candidate Victor Ponta posted a photo on social media with Donald Trump Jr. Ponta met with Trump Jr. in Serbia, in the context of a meeting between the Serbian president and the son of the US president. “We are waiting for him in Romania, hopefully soon,” Ponta said in the post.
