Dragnea meets Tariceanu, several ministers: “Figures on the table. The future looks good”

Amid the RON record low versus EUR and the fact that Romania still lacks a 2019 state budget draft, chairman of the ruling Social Democrat Party, Liviu Dragnea, recently back from holiday, has posted a photo on Facebook featuring him, ALDE leader Calin Popescu Tariceanu and other ministers discussing around the table, with a short message: “figures on the table, the future looks good”.
Dragnea and Tariceanu are seen at the table next to PM’s adviser Darius Valcov, Finance minister Eugen Teodorovici, Economy minister Eugen Badalau and ALDE vice-president Daniel Chitoiu, former Finance minister.
PM Viorica Dăncilă doesn’t feature in the photo.
Political sources told local mass media that the meeting should have taken place on Monday when the leaders of the ruling coalition should have discussed the 2019 draft budget.
