Former Regional Development and Tourism Minister, former presidential adviser and incumbent MP Elena Udrea said on Wednesday she will attend the courses of a Master in Pastoral Counselling and psycho-social assistance at the Babes Bolyai University (Cluj), saying she wants to set up an Institute of Happiness, in order to help people for free to solve their problems with the support of religion.

“I will attend a master at the Faculty of Theology, specializing in Pastoral Counselling and psycho-social assistance at the Babes Bolyai University,” Udrea has told Mediafax.

She said she has chosen this specialization because she wants to deepen her knowledge of religion and psychology in order to help people.

“I was motivated by the desire to deepen my knowledge of religion and psychology needed to help people who have problems and solve them with the support of religion and psychology, but primarily with the support of religion,” Elena Udrea asked said.

Udrea has added she wants to practice in the field and establish an Institute of Happiness.

“Certainly I would practice, but I don’t want necessarily to make this a profession in the sense of financial gain. I want to set up this association and to name it the Institute of Happiness where to help people for free to solve their problems of any kind – emotional, health, psychological, any problems you have – with the help of religious belief and psychology,” the MP said.

Elena Udrea has decided not to run in general elections, but says she will help the country by dedicating herself to this religious project.

“Now, I do not want to run, I want to carry on this project in which I believe a lot and I think I can do more for the people and for the country. My theory is that things go bad because people are very ingrained and I think I can do more for the people with this religious project,” Udrea concluded.
