Elon Musk Criticizes Romania Again After Călin Georgescu Ban

Businessman Elon Musk, part of President Donald Trump’s administration, criticized again on Monday the rejection of Călin Georgescu’s candidacy for the presidency, just one night after he had already posted several critical messages against the authorities in Bucharest.
“How can a judge end democracy in Romania?”, Musk posted on X,sharing a post by MAGA influencer Mario Nawfal about Sunday night’s protests in Bucharest.
“After banning elected president @CG_Romania and ruling he can never run again, authorities are now using brute force to silence dissident”, Nawfal said.
In the same post, Nawfal claimed that “riot police are beating citizens” and that “the parallel state is crushing protests.”
Also on Monday, Musk shared another post by Nawfal, in which he echoed George Simion’s appeal for help to “save Romanian democracy.”
