According to an opinion poll carried out by CIRA (The Center for International Research and Analyses), which measured the intention to vote for this year’s first elections, respectively the European Parliament elections, and at the beginning of 2024 PSD is in first place, with 30% , followed by the PNL which remains in second place in the party ranking for the June elections, and the AUR in third place.
Thus, if the European Parliament elections were held next Sunday, the voting result would look as follows: PSD – 30%, PNL – 20%, AUR – 18%, USR – 14%, SOS – 6%, UDMR – 5%.
The rest of the parties would not pass the 5% threshold that would allow them to enter the European Parliament.
The survey also shows that 40 percent of Romanians would choose a right-wing or center party and only 13 percent would choose a left-wing party.
