The Republic of El Salvador on Thursday opened the Honorary Consulate in Bucharest, with the eJobs founder, Romanian businessman Lucian Despoiu being appointed honorary consul.

Lucian Despoiu, now founder and CEO of Majoritas, an international company of digital technology for political campaigns, is hosting the event, which is attended by the Foreign Minister of El Salvador, Hugo Roger Martinez Bonilla and H.E. Maria Gallardo de Hernández, El Salvador ambassador to Romania, next to other official delegates of the republic.

The new honorary consul will focus on developing the economic and financial relations among companies from Romania and El Salvador, by identifying new bilateral business opportunities, but also on enhancing the cooperation between Romanian universities and the ones in El Salvador.
