George Simion Calls for Sovereignist Bloc in Response to USR-PSD Alliance

AUR President George Simion called on Monday for the formation of a single sovereignist bloc. “If the globalists, the antichrists, the corrupt are coming together, it’s time for us to come together too. I appeal to each of you to join AUR,” Simion said in a video message posted on his Facebook account.

“I appeal to all patriots in this country, to all unionists, to all those who participated in this battle that we have fought in the last five years, regardless of what separated us, regardless of the differences between us, it is time to close ranks. There were people, there were parties that betrayed. You see the alliance that USR announced with PSD. If the globalists, the antichrists, the corrupt gather, it is time for us to gather too. I appeal to each of you to join AUR”, declared George Simion.

AUR president showed himself available, until the end of the year, to hold individual or broader discussions. “Come, let’s form a single sovereignist bloc. Come to the Movement for the Rebirth and Reconstruction of Romania. Come to the Alliance for the Unity of Romanians. I know we had many divergences or differences, but be human and understand that above all we must put the interest of the homeland”, Simion emphasized.

The sovereignist parties that entered Parliament after the December 1 parliamentary elections this year are AUR (led by George Simion) who ranked second after PSD, SOS RO, the party led by Diana Sosoaca and POT, a brand new party, allegedly the creation of Calin Georgescu, the ultranationalist presidential candidate.
