German Ambassador in Bucharest awarded Romanian Gov’t highest national security distinction
Awarded the highest Romanian national security distinction on Thursday, Germany’s ambassador in Bucharest, Werner Hans Lauk praised the excellent bilateral relations.
“Romanian-German relations are at an excellent level, which owes to the excellent existing economic relations between companies in Romania and Germany, but also between the state institutions of the two countries, and not the last, to the excellent partnership between the national security bodies and authorities in our states,” ambassador Lauk stated during the awarding ceremony held at the Interior Ministry’s headquarters.
“This good collaboration is a excellent professional one, and this is also reflected in the activity of the liaison officers that both countries are sending at the diplomatic missions. We are happy there is such a good cooperation that also expands to some sectors of joint interest such as cybersecurity, organized crime fighting, but also within some European missions like Frontex or others (…) It’s a professional collaboration, but also a substantial support that the Romanian police authorities are giving to the German Police (…)” the German envoy also said.
