Ialomita social-democrats join Dambovita branch in requesting PSD leadership to cancel decisions to expel Tutuianu and Neacsu

The PSD mayors, MPs and Ialomita counselors show solidarity with the Dambovita branch and request the party leadership to cancel the decision to expel Adrian Tutuianu and Marian Neacsu.

The Ialomita PSD Executive Committee sitting on Wednesday has cast a confidence vote for Marian Neacsu, the party secretary general excluded on Monday along with Dambovita leader Adrian Tutuianu.

The Ialomita social-democrats adopted a resolution to show solidarity with the Dambovita colleagues, who adopted similar decisions a day earlier.

The resolution claims the charges against the two excluded leaders “are unfounded and abusive”.

Several PSD leaders, among them Marian Neacsu and Adrian Tutuianu, Gabriela Firea and Paul Stanescu, requested the resignation of PSD leader Liviu Dragnea at the PSD Executive Committee sitting on September 21.

We remind that on Tuesday, MPs, mayors, city and county counselors, heads of Dambovita local organisations signed a joint statement expressing unconditional and unreserved support for Adrian Tutuianu, recently expelled from PSD by the party’s Executive Committee. They claim de decisions to expel Tutuianu and Marian Neacsu are unfounded and abusive. The signatories request the PSD leadership to prove wisdom and revoke the decision.
