Iohannis: If Greek crisis goes on, it will affect all of us
Romanian President Klaus Iohannis said that if the Greek crisis went on, Romania, EU and NATO would also be affected.
“I don’t think there is anybody so naïve to think that Greece’s exit from the Eurozone shouldn’t affect everybody. I consider it’s very important that new ways should be sought to attenuate the crisis and to find solutions to get out of it,” Iohannis said on Thursday during the joint conference with NATO Secretary General.
Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras urged Greeks to vote against it, although previously he hinted he could accept most of the conditions of a bailout. Tsipras said a referendum planned for July 5 would go ahead, and Greeks should vote “No” to strengthen his hand in future negotiations on a new rescue.
Greek Finance minister Yanis Varoufakis told Bloomerg he would resign if there was a Yes vote on Sunday’s referendum.
