Iohannis recalls Luca Niculescu from the position of ambassador to France

On Monday, President Klaus Iohannis signed the decree recalling Luca Niculescu from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the French Republic, the Principality of Andorra and the Principality of Monaco.
Klaus Iohannis nominated, in December 2015, Luca Niculescu for taking over the position of Romanian ambassador to France, the Principality of Andorra and the Principality of Monaco.
Luca Niculescu has a degree in Journalism and a master’s degree in European Journalism from the University Center for Journalism in Strasbourg. From 1992 to 2000 he was a journalist of RFI and from 2000 editor-in-chief of RFI Romania. He was also a correspondent for France Info, France Inter, France Culture, TV 5 and “Liberation”.
