UDMR chairman Kelemen Hunor said on Wednesday that the union has decided to vote on favour of the censure motion, in order to sanction “the Government’s administrative and political incapacity in the case of Valea Uzului.”
The UDMR leader said the union wants to have a contribution to the motion’s text received from PNL representatives, ziare.com reports.
“I’ve seen the text, I received it from the PNL colleagues, I had several suggestions. I had a meeting with them on Tuesday and, if things do not change, we will have a contribution to the motion’s text. Then, we will sign the text and will vote in favour of the censure motion next week,” Kelemen Hunor said.
He mentioned that the formal decision hasn’t been adopted. “We’ll decide in the common parliamentary groups, before the motion, but in principle this is my recommendation, to politically sanction, by vote, the Government. What happened last week and especially last Thursday, when we’ve seen the Government’s administrative incapacity to put an end to rallies in Valea Uzului, did matter. It is our sanction against the Government,” Hunor said.
