General Mayor of Bucharest, Sorin Oprescu (photo), has lost no less than eight percent in public confidence, according to the survey conducted by INSCOP Research for ‘Adevarul’ newspaper during the week immediately following his arrest.
President Klaus Iohannis continues to lead the top – 58.6% of respondents said that they trust him much and very much, compared to 61.6% in July. On the second place is Mugur Isarescu – 41.6, third place is taken by George Maior – 29.7%. Next is PM Victor Ponta – 22.8%. Note that the survey was conducted by INSCOP before the prime minister was indicted.
The top also includes: Gabriel Oprea -21.7% , Mihai Razvan Ungureanu – 20.3%,Calin Popescu Tariceanu – 18.4% Alina Gorghiu – 16.8%, Liviu Dragnea – 16% Catalin Predoiu – 15, 8%, Mircea Geoana – 15.6%, Traian Basescu – 15.5%. Sorin Oprescu is next, in free fall after his arrest – 13.9% in September, after 21.8% in August.
The survey was conducted by INSCOP Research for ‘Adevarul’ newspaper during September 10-15 on a sample of 1,085 people and has a maximum error data of plus/minus 3% at a confidence level of 95%.
