Liberals to veto 2015 state budget bill. No-confidence vote in February
The National Liberal Party will veto 2015 state budget bill and will file a no-confidence motion in February, PNL co-president Vasile Blaga told Gândul Live on Tuesday night.
”We cannot come to rule but following constitutional provisions. We shall file a no-confidence motion after February 1 and we shall not vote for the 2015 budget bill. Coming to rule by snap elections is the fairest thing of all”, Blaga stated.
Yet, he admitted there is a majority shaped up around Victor Pona at this moment in Parliament, but pointed out that things are not going well inside PSD or its allies either. Yet, Blaga said his party is not interested in luring lawmakers from other parties to ensure a parliamentary majority , despite the fact that all parties seem forward to talk it over.
No change of mind over Predoiu as PM
As for the premier topic, Blaga said he is capable of being prime minister as well, but he is usually carrying out a promise and that promise was that Catalin Predoiu should be premier if the Liberals assumed ruling. ”Catalin Predoiu will be our premier,” Blaga asserted, adding that the place of a party president is at the party HQs. ”He should not be both party leader and premier,” PNL co-president concluded.
