“The PSD government has left, all secretaries of state named by PSD, all presidents, vice-presidents, overall the entire PSD clientele will leave the government, because we cannot accept to work with those who have made a mess of Romania in the past 3 years. I will release any of them from duty. We’ll cut drastically the number of secretaries of state, ” PM Ludovic Orban announced.
After the new PM Ludovic Orban announced on Thursday the dismissal of 40 secretaries of state, on Friday 55 more have been sacked, with their dismissals being published in the Official Gazette.
The sacked officials had been appointed during the PSD ruling. The new premier had announced he would drastically cut down the number of secretaries of state in the Government.
