So, as we can see, two former ministers form PNL are not regained their positions anymore in the new PSD Cabinet. It is Bogdan Aurescu , the former Foreign Affairs minister and Lucian Bode, who held the Home Affairs portfolio.

As also noticed, UDMR is not in the government anymore, as the president of the UDMR, Kelemen Hunor, announced on Tuesday evening that the negotiations with the PNL for the ministries in the Ciolacu Government have failed.

“We cannot move forward without Development. I took another step, I showed flexibility. We change the offer and say that we go with the Environment and choose another ministry besides the Environment. Today we made the offer to take over the Ministry of Environment and to take over the Ministry of Energy. This option was not possible either. PNL has both the Ministry of Development and the Ministry of the Environment. He cannot drop any of the ministries. Marcel Ciolacu offered the PNL three ministries to keep the UDMR in government,” Kelemen Hunor stated.
UDMR chairman also said that “things stop, because they failed to reach a consensus”. “I’m terribly sorry, but you can’t work on taxes. I showed seriousness, professionalism, responsibility. We made every possible effort and showed openness and flexibility throughout the negotiations. Until the lists and the government program are sent to the Parliament, it cannot be said that this stage has closed. By tomorrow morning it may change. We see what will happen in the coming days,” Kelemen Hunor said.

The president of the UDMR has just declared on Tuesday that the members of the formation he leads will not vote for the Ciolacu Government in Parliament on Thursday. Asked whether he would vote against or abstain, the leader of the Hungarian community representatives said: “we will not vote for the Government, how can we vote for it?”

Kelemen Hunor also said that his former partners lied when they blamed the UDMR claims that led to the exit of the Hungarians from the government.
