Nicusor Dan, message for Donald Trump

President-elect Nicușor Dan wrote a message to US President Donald Trump on Wednesday, on the X network, in which he thanked him for his “commitment to the relationship between Romania and the United States”, as well as for the appointment of the new US ambassador to Bucharest, Darryl Nirenberg.
“I would like to thank President Trump (@realDonaldTrump) for his strong leadership and commitment to the Romania–United States relationship, as well as for the nomination of Mr. Darryl Nirenberg as the United States Ambassador to Romania. I extend my congratulations to Mr. Nirenberg on his nomination. I look forward to working closely with President Trump and his administration to further strengthen the Strategic Partnership between Romania and the United States. Our countries are bound by decades of cooperation, underpinned by common values and shared interests. I am fully confident that, together, we will accomplish major projects that will bring greater security and prosperity to our people,” says Nicusor Dan’s X post.
On Tuesday night, in Romania, 6 senators, Republicans and Democrats, from the US Senate Foreign Affairs Committee sent an official statement, in which they said: “We congratulate President-elect Nicușor Dan” and called the US-Romania Alliance “unshakable”.
