PM Dancila meets Saudi Ambassador, economic issues on top of the agenda
The economic issues have priority for the Government of Romania in the overall relationship with Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă said on Thursday, during the meeting at Victoria Palace with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Bucharest, Abdul Aziz Mohammed Al-Aifan.
According to a Government communiqué, the prime minister expressed satisfaction with the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries, based on traditional partnership and good cooperation in various areas of common interest.
Dăncilă has also expressed interest in intensifying the Romanian-Saudi dialogue at the government level, by increasing the number of bilateral contacts, and has emphasized the importance of close coordination between the business environments of the two countries, which should facilitate the identification of concrete cooperation projects.
The two officials have also highlighted the important potential of amplifying and diversifying the sectoral cooperation in areas such as agriculture, energy, transport, tourism, health, education, culture, home affairs, etc., the press release reads.
