PM Dăncilă, new blunder during the meeting with Pope Francis – speaks half Romanian, half English
Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă addressed Pope Francis, during the private audience on Friday at the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican: “Sfinţia Voastră, I am very glad for this opportunity,” according to a video record that was made public by the Italian media. The Romanian Government also released a video regarding the meeting on Friday without soundtrack.
The video shows how Dăncilă tells Pope Francis about the gifts he has brought, this time addressing him in Romanian language.
PM Viorica Dancila was welcomed by Pope Francis on Friday, at the Vatican, occasion to thank His Sanctity for the generous attention granted to the relations with Romania and to express hope the Holy Father will pay a visit to Romania, a Government release informed on Friday.
Speaking to Antena 3 TV private broadcaster, PM Dancila said: “I have invited the Pope to come to Romania and he answered he would come early next year.”
