PM Grindeanu’s visits in USA, Italy and Austria, under way
PM Sorin Grindeanu announced on Wednesday that he plans visit in Austria, Italy and USA this year.
“I had very good visits in Brussels, they will generate more visits in April and May. We are working to prepare visits in Austria and Italy in April,” PM Grindeanu told DC News, adding that a visit is also scheduled on the USA by this fall.
“The partnership with the US is extremely important. It’s our strategic partnership. One of the Government’s fundamental lines is to enhance relations with the USA, beside words. The economic relations must also be strengthened,” Grindeanu stated.
Asked how is getting along with President Iohannis, the PM said he has an institutionally correct relation.
“I had a dialogue with Mr. president. We have a joint stance on the five scenatios related to the European debate. I was thinking that after the Revolution there were just two moments when all energies had been channeled to the same direction and it had been consensus, on the occasion of Romania’s joining NATO and EU,” the premier said.
