During the informal Gov’t sitting in the Danube Delta on Friday, PM Victor Ponta informed that he invited his Moldovan counterpart Valeriu Strelet to attend a joint sitting of the two governments, with the meeting being scheduled in Tulcea in the upcoming period.

“We’ll definitely have a joint Gov’t sitting together with the Executive of the R. of Moldova, I invited the new premier, he accepted. We haven’t settled the date yet. I told him to hurry up while it is still nice weather outside. We had a joint sitting in Iasi, then in Chisinau. The next one should have been held in Bucharest, but I suggested him to have it in Tulcea and of course, he enjoyed the idea,” the premier said.

Victor Ponta paid an official visit to Chisinau on Thursday to mark the republic’s Independence Day.
