Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu presented documents to Parliament on Wednesday that he said were related to flights on luxury jets leased by the real estate company Nordis.
“I didn’t find them (the invoices – ed.), I had them from the beginning. It would have directly affected me if I had broken the law. If I had known that the owners of Nordis were part of a criminal group, at the time I knew or contributed to this group… The only thing, upon your notification, where I had certain suspicions, was regarding the acts promoted and approved through the Legal Commission by Mrs. Laura Vicol, something where the PSD group conducted an audit of every law signed and promoted through the Legal Commission and there is no law that would have favored any company, I’m not just talking about Nordis, or any law, any amendment that would have led to a favor“, declared Marcel Ciolacu.
The PSD leader presented invoices, receipts and a document that he says is an explanation from Nordis about the differences in course and year related to an older travel insurance, which he had published on TikTok.
