PM Mihai Tudose, called on Monday to Parliament to present the state of the economy
Prime Minister Mihai Tudose has been invited to the Chamber of Deputies on Monday at the “Prime Minister’s hour” to present the state of the economy.
The decision was taken on Friday by the Standing Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies, at the request of the PNL parliamentary group.
“At the request of the Liberal Parliamentary Group, on Monday, September 4, Prime Minister Mihai Tudose will come to the Chamber of Deputies at the ‘Prime Minister’s hour’ to elaborate on the state of the Romanian economy. There are many reasons for concern generated by a series of debates and information in the public space, some of them launched by Prime Minister Tudose himself, which seem to lead Romania in a similar crisis to the one in 2008-2009. At the moment we are in a situation that needs to be explained by the Government, we have almost zero investments, European funds close to zero and expenditures that have to be covered somehow,” the leader of the PNL group, Deputy Raluca Turcan said.
She also said that “with the strength of the public statements in the Romanian Parliament, Prime Minister Mihai Tudose must present the exact state of the Romanian economy, the investments in each ministry, the budget execution on each ministry and for the entire Government.”
