PM’s new blunder while announcing rehabilitation of the Giulesti stadium for the European Football Championship
While announcing that the Government has adopted the resolution to Okay the rehabilitation of the Giulesti stadium in Bucharest in the view of the European Football Championship to be hosted by Romania, PM Viorica Dancila has made a new blunder by reading from the papers Euro 20 20, not as a year, but as spelled in two parts, Euro 20 20.
The total investment of the revamping works mount to over RON 121 million (around EUR 25.8 M).
“We adopt in the view of Euro 20 20, the government resolution on approving the technical economic indicators for the investment objective to consolidate and modernize Giulesti stadium. The works are financed by the state budget through the budgets of the Regional Development and Transport ministries, totaling RON 121,131, 000, with a completion deadline of 21 months,” the premier announced at the beginning of the Government sitting.
According to the investment draft, the Giulesti stadium will have 14,000 seats, training halls, dinning rooms with catering-like kitchen, reception, multifunctional sports hall, weightlifting hall, box/karate/judo halls and two TV studios. The stadium will also host VIP boxes and an irrigation system for the turf.
Giulesti stadium was opened in June 1939, having a capacity of 12,160 seats.
