President Iohannis brings forward visit to France in order to attend the Parliament’s solemn sitting dedicated to the Great Union Centenary

President Klaus Iohannis has brought forward the official visit to France to Monday and Tuesday, in order to attend on Wednesday the Parliament’s solemn sitting dedicated to the Great Union Centenary, the Presidential Administration informs on Friday.

“Given that on Wednesday, November 28, the Chamber of Deputies and Senate’s solemn sitting dedicated to the Great Union Centenary will take place, the President of Romania has changed the programme of the official visit he is to pay to the French Republic, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Romania-France Season. The visit, initially scheduled during November 27-28, will take place during November 26-27,” The Presidency informs on Friday.

The Presidency announced on Wednesday that the head of state will pay on official visit to the French Republic on November 27-28, on the occasion of inaugurating the Cultural Season Romania-France, which celebrates ten years since the signing of the Strategic Partnership Statement and the Great Union Centenary.
