President Klaus Iohannis said on Thursday that he has discussed with the ambassadors of EU member states accredited in Romania on migration and about the terrorist attacks in Paris.
“We have discussed many important issues for us and for the EU. We have discussed about the role and about our place in the EU, that we want to be part of the core of the European Union. We talked about migration, about refugees, about the fact that we must work with the transit countries and the origin countries to stop this wave of refugees. We have discussed about the terrible terrorist attacks that took place in Paris and on how to prevent such attacks and in general about the problems we have in view,” said the head of state, after attending the luncheon with the ambassadors of EU member states accredited in Bucharest.
He pointed out that there were many questions and noted that the discussions were very good.
