While in Sibiu on Friday to attend the National Liberal Party’s Executive Bureau, President Klaus Iohannis has slammed the riot police’s intervention during the Diaspora rally one more time.
„I have received a report from the Presidential Administration. There have bee so many unpleasant incidents in Victoriei Square. The fact that the PSD government has gassed and beaten Romanians seems unspeakable to me, from any point of view,” the head of state pointed out.
He added he won’t make further comments on this topic, as there is an ongoing investigation at the Prosecutor’s Office.
As for the PSD chair Liviu Dragnea’s allegation on a murder attempt against him, Iohannis said:
„I have never heard such a thing. But, as it has been rumored on TV, it seemed to me the guy already has the fears, obsessions and nightmares of a dictator.”
Asked if he is referring ti Liviu Dragnea, Iohannis replied: „Yes, I am referring to Dragnea”.
