President pays his first official visit abroad


Klaus Iohannis will pay his first official visit abroad as president in Brussels on Thursday and Friday. He will meet the European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker on Thursday, while on Friday the Romanian head of state is expected to meet NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

Iohannis’ personal adviser, Mihai Razvan Ungureanu was announcing the president’s official visits to Brussels, Kishinev, Berlin and Paris due in the first six months as far back as early January.
