The Romanian ruling Social Democrat Party (PSD) wanted to have a new image ahead European elections, so they hired a lobby firm from Brussels, to wash up its anti-European image.
According to Politico,the contract would worth EUR 25,000-EUR 50,000.
“The ruling PSD party, which has clashed with the European Commission and its European political family over the state of rule of law in the country, has hired Brussels lobbyists to clean up its battered image in the EU press,” the article begins.
The above – mentioned source reported that PSD had hired Rud Pedersen Public Affairs in April, “a consultancy with offices across Nordic countries and 10 staff in Brussels”.
