President Klaus Iohannis and National Bank Governor Mugur Isarescu have similar behaviors and do anything to discredit the Government, PSD Vaslui leader Dumitru Buzatu says.

In an interview for rfi.ro, Buzatu argues “both of them do anything to discredit the Government and the decisions made. I believe that the role of the National Bank and the President’s was to intermediate the asperities in the political field for the president and in the economic field for the National Bank. They should find the best solutions so that Romania takes advantage of a leadership with such qualities.”

The PSD representative has charged the BNR Governor.

“From this point of view, I’ve seen that Mr. Mugur Isarescu is a real political combatant and remembers the time when he ran for the presidential seat and got 5% of the Romanians’ votes, who showed their appreciation for a man claiming he knows so many things,” Dumitru Buzatu said.

Asked if a new BNR Governor is needed, Buzatu said: “As personal opinion, I haven’t talked to anyone, if such tensions will be further fueled by the Governor, then it’s obvious he should abandon the boat.”
