PSD chairman Liviu Dragnea has asked Finance minister Eugen Teodorovici to do a clear analysis on the National Tax Revenue Body (ANAF), arguing the institution is treating the Romanian companies as criminals, while avoiding controls on foreign-based companies.

“I kept hoping that ANAF is checking all companies, not only the Romanian-owned ones. Foreign companies must have the same treatment, must respect the same laws,” Dragnea told Antena 3 on Wednesday evening.

“They are going to multinational companies like kitties, ANAF has kept changing chiefs, the Finance minister must review the situation”, the SocDem leader argued.

Dragnea added he had talked about ANAF situation also with his ruling partner, Calin Popescu Tariceanu (ALDE).

“The Finance minister must do an analysis, to present it in the coalition, we won’t accept, I’ve also talked to Mr. Taricenau, we won’t accept some from ANAF think that the Romanian companies are criminals and must be punched”.
