Romania allegedly has a debt of £75,000 for the building that accommodates its embassy in London, The Times reports.

The landlord, British citizen Christopher Christos, 67, of Kensington, says that the sum represents the unpaid rent for six months. He further claims that he sent an eviction order in December 2018, but Romanian ambassador Dan Mihalache would have continued to live in the building until the end of the contract period, April 2019.

Romania rented the property at 18 Hyde Park Street in London during April 2018-April 2019.
