Senate passed Drone Law
The Senate adopted the “drone law”, the draft law that regulates the peaceful conduct of military missions and operations on the territory of the Romanian state when there is no war.
There were 81 votes “for”, 12 “against” and two abstentions.
According to the normative act, the designated structures of the Romanian Army, depending on operational needs, will be able to be transferred, for determined periods of time, under different degrees of authority, in the relationship with the commander of the foreign armed forces leading a military operation on the territory of the Romanian state.
Initiated by the Government, the draft law specifies that a drone that illegally crosses our border and flies without authorization can be neutralized or even destroyed.
