Ukrainian official: Klaus Iohannis to go to Kyiv with Macron, Scholz and Draghi

Romanian President Klaus Iohannis is scheduled to travel with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi to Kyiv. The information was published by Ukrainian parliamentarian Oleksiy Goncharenko on his Twitter page. The visit is scheduled for Thursday.

According to the Ukrainian official, the visit would take place on Thursday. On Tuesday evening, the President of France Emmanuel Macron comes to visit Romania to meet with the French troops stationed here.

On Wednesday, he will go with President Klaus Iohannis to the military base from Mihail Kogălniceanu. Macron is also going to the Republic of Moldova to assert his support for this country affected by the war in Ukraine, the Elysée Palace announced on Friday.

Information that Scholz, Macron and Draghi will visit Kiev was published on Saturday by Bild. According to the publication, the three European leaders want to meet with the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenski this month, before the G7 summit.
