Update: Viorica Dancila’s wealth statement: Buildings, accounts, donations to PSD. MEP’s assistant, sued in Dragnea’s file on fictitious employment

Vasilica Viorica Dancila, the PSD proposal for prime minister, has a significant wealth with her husband Cristinel Dancila. They own several buildings in the counties of Brasov, Dolj and Teleorman, accounts of tens of thousands of euros, but also have high incomes. Viorica Dancila was generous with PSD. According to the wealth statements, she contributed to PSD by RON 20,000 during January-October 2016, and in May 2014 she donated RON 40,000 to PSD, hotnews.ro informs.

Together with his husband, she owns two urban plots of land, one of 544 sq m in Brasov County and another one of 1,200 sq m in Giurgita commune, Dolj County. She also owns a 2 hectare agricultural land in the commune of Giurgita, Dolj.

Dancila spouses have two apartments, one of 100 sq m in Videle, Teleorman County and one of 44 sq m in Ploiesti. They also have a 140 sq m house in Giurgita, Dolj, and a holiday house in Brasov County.

She owns a Volkswagen Passat manufactured in 2014.

In the last wealth statement (June 2017) Viorica Dancile owned bank accounts worth over EUR 68,000, USD 17,000 and over RON 183,000.

Viorica Dancila mentioned that the annual MEP’s allowance was of about EUR 78,000 and her husband Cristinel Dancila earned RON 436,000 from the position of manager with OMV Petrom.

USR Deputy: Dancila’s assistant, sued in Dragnea’s file on fictitious employment

Save Romania Union (USR) Deputy Tudor Pop wrote on Facebook that MEP Viorica Dăncilă has hired “one of the two women accused of having been fictitiously employed by Liviu Dragnea with the Teleorman Directorate of Child Protection, for which the PSD leader is being prosecuted.”

At the time of the deeds, Dragnea was chairman of the Teleorman County Council, chairman of the PSD County Organization. He has been sent to court for allegations of incitement to abuse of office and incitement to intellectual forgery, stiri.tvr.ro informs.

“Botorogeanu Adriana is one of the two people who have been accused of being fictitiously employed by DGASPC Teleorman by Liviu Dragnea, for which Liviu Dragnea is being prosecuted,” Tudor Pop wrote on Facebook.

PSD chairman, Liviu Dragnea, and his former wife, Bombonica Prodana, are investigated for complicity to abuse of office in a case targeting the fictitious hiring at the Social Assistance Directorate in Teleorman County. Dragnea is accused of arranging that some members of the Teleorman PSD branch to be hired with the county Social Assistance Direction, without actually working there.
