Romanian MP Victor Paul Dobre, member of the Romanian delegation to the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE-PA) was elected Vice-President of the OSCE-PA at the body’s 25th annual meeting in Tbilisi, Georgia, July 1-5.

The new composition of the OSC-PA leadership includes President Christine Muttonen (Austria) and Vice-Presidents Victor Paul Dobre (Romania), Vilija Aleknaite Abramikiene (Lithuania), Azay Guliyev (Azerbaijan), Isabel Santos (Portugal), Robert B. Aderholt (the US), Kent Harstedt (Sweden), George Tsereteli (Georgia), Peter Bowness (the UK) and Roberto Battelli (Slovenia), Agerpres informs.

The Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE is the parliamentary dimension of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. It was established in April 1991, and it includes 323 members from 57 national parliaments of the ISCE member states.
