Selgros Cash&Carry Romania, has a new CEO as of July 1.
Robert Hellwagner, who has taken the CEO office from Alexandru Vlad, has a ten-year experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry and in the banking system in Austria and Switzerland. He joined Selgros Romania team in June last year.
Alexandru Vlad, the former CEO Selgros Romania, has been appointed to lead the Board of Directors of Selgros Cash&Carry Germany.
Part of Transgourmet Holding AG as of 2011, the second largest chain of cash & carry and wholesale trade in Europe, has entered local market in 2001 and currently has 22 stores in Bucharest, Alba-Iulia, Braşov, Iaşi, Târgu Mureş, Oradea, Cluj, Ploieşti, Timişoara, Craiova, Bacău, Galaţi, Brăila, Arad, Suceava, Constanţa and Bistrița.
Selgros Cash&Carry Romania, important player on the domestic wholesale market, resumed expansion locally in 2016 and brought a new concept store in Targu Mures and launched a tourism package platform Selgros Travel, operated by TUI Travel Center, as of August 2017.
