Russian Film Week in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca

The ninth edition of the Russian Film Week, part of the Russian Culture Days in Romania, is due in Bucharest October 25-October 28 and in Cluj-Napoca, November 8-11.

The official opening takes place at Eforie Cinema in Bucharest (2 Eforie street) on Thursday, October 25, 7 p.m., followed by the screening of Dmitriy Kiselev’s „Spacewalk” (2017). The film will be introduced by Romanian cosmonaut Dumitru Prunariu.

This year, the Russian Film Week is focusing on the latest films directed by young Russian filmmakers. The programme includes  „Bolshoi” (2017); „Friday” (2016); „Sobibor” (2018) ; „Viking” (2016) ; „Coach” (2018), ”Matilda” (2017).

Alexandr Ilyin jun. (actor, ”Coach”), Irina Savitskova (actress,”Bolshoi”) and Evgheniy Shelyakin (director, ”Friday”) will be in Bucharest to talk about the films there are involved in.
