1,000 protested in Piata Victoriei against corruption, for Pension Pillar II and in favour of Rosia Montana’s UNESCO bid
Bucharesters protested again Sunday evening in Piata Victoriei, in front of the government building, against the proposals to amend the justice laws, against the intent to change the regulation regarding Pension Pillar II and against the intend to withdraw the bid to UNESCO in the Rosia Montana file.
The protesters gathered starting 20.00h and staged the protest for about none hour and a half, until the storm started in Bucharest, hotnews.ro informs.
They chanted: ‘Justice, no to corruption!’, ‘PSD, the red plague’, ‘Pillar II is not for you!’, ‘Thieves’, ‘Huge bribe for Rosia Montana’.
It is the second Sunday in a row with protests staged in Piata Victoriei.
