14 Dacia plant employees were injured Thursday night, after the two buses they were travelling in have collided, prompting the authorities Red Plan, as initially were announced 20-30 victims.
On the night of Thursday to Friday, another person was hospitalized by Arges County Hospital, after another 13, all employees of the Dacia plant, were brought there following the road accident involving two buses carrying 80 workers.
The most seriously injured is one of the drivers, who has been extracted from the bus’s twisted body. There are also some seriously injured passengers from the second bus.
“In total, 14 victims were brought to the county hospital after the accident. The health status of the victims is good, we don’t have critically injured patients. There is no vital risk for none of our patients,” said on Friday doctor Marius Pascu, the Arges County Hospital spokesman.
Police have opened an investigation into this case, establishing that the blame for the accident is of the bus driver who didn’t keep the right distance in traffic and collided with the other bus full of workers.
The accident was occurred on the National Road 73D, which connects the city of Pitesti to Vultureşti.
