Alina Rugina, from Bucharest, has won on Monday night the title of Miss Romania 2017, a contest organized by Bucharest Fashion Week.

At the age of 18, Alina Rugina also was Miss Ambasad’Or at the 2015 edition of Miss Romania contest, digi24.ro informs.

“I cannot describe what I feel right now. At the end of the contest I was trembling on the stage, I was overwhelmed by emotions, and when I heard my name, I did not know what to do anymore, I started crying, laughing, I’ve even forgot the choreography. It’s a very important moment for me. I want to encourage the girls to attend the Bucharest Fashion Week festival, because here they have the opportunity to work with many professionals, and of course to participate to the Miss Romania contest,” Alina Rugina, currently a schoolgirl in Bucharest, said.

Andreea Giurea (22 years old) from Constanta won the second place in the contest, while Alina Belu (17) from Bucharest ranked third.
