19 Palestinian children, injured in the attacks of the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip, will be treated in Romania. They will be brought by military planes and admitted urgently to hospitals in Bucharest.

Most of the children will be taken from the West Bank, sources told Digi24. According to initial information, they will be brought to Romania at the beginning of June, but the transport could happen even earlier. Flight dates are currently being set.

Sixteen children from Palestine will be taken to Grigore Alexandrescu Hospital in Bucharest.

The other three children, who have cancer, are in Turkey and will be taken to Marie Curie Hospital.

This mission, involving Romanian Air Force planes, was requested by the European Union through its central emergency management center because these children are in serious condition and need immediate assistance.
