300 donations completed through a smart donation app
Seva, the smart donation app managed to complete a number of 300 donations since launch, in August. The British Embassy in Bucharest was the first official donator with a collective donation of 50 packages.
The donations reached the beneficiaries, people with measure of social protection (adults & children) from across the county of Bacău, through a public-private partnership with The General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Bacau.
The app is developed by a local fashion retailer.
On the 29th of October, Seva team visited GDSACP Bacău in order to personally observe the status of the project. Team members stated that they had the opportunity to meet dedicated professionals during their visit in two recovery centres. Part of donations were personally delivered to the beneficiaries and the team noticed the significant positive reactions for each of the items in the packages.
The visit had a great emotional impact on the team which returned driven to further invest in the growth and development of the project.
