The firefighters in Timis County were asked to intervene on Thursday to save a deer blocked in mud at the edge of a lake in Cenei locality. In total, five military firefighters, along with volunteers, intervened for four hours to rescue the deer, ziare.com reports.
“The intervention was very difficult and long-lasting due to the difficult access and muddy residue. Once removed from the mud, the deer was cleaned and then checked by a veterinarian, after which it was released in the wild,” ISU Timis informs.
