A group of protesters tried to display a banner in Victoriei Square, man fined by RON 1,000
A group of 15 people tried to display a banner in the Victoriei Square on Tuesday morning, using the cables in the Antipa Museum area. The gendarmes say the traffic has been jeopardized. A man has been fine by RON 1,000.
The 15 demonstrators gathered in Victoriei Square to protest in the morning around 7 a.m. and it was then they tried to display the banner, with gendarmes saying one of the protesters has thrown objects to the cables nearby to fly the banner, thus jeopardizing the traffic and disturbing the public order.
According to a Gendarmerie press release, the action of the protesters continued despite the gendarmes’ warnings and calls, so a man has been taken at the Police Section 4 and fined by RON 1,000 according to article 26 of the Law 60/1991 on the organization of public gatherings.
