A Romanian to lead the world freemasonry
Romania will take over the Presidency of the World Conference of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry through the Sovereign Grand Commander Stelian Nistor, 33°, who will be the President of the World Conference as of 2020, for 5 years.
A delegation of the Supreme Council of the Ancient Scottish Rite in Romania has attended the National Session of the Scottish Rite in Rome, Italy during May 31-June 2, when the Italian Supreme Council has awarded the title and the medal of Member of Honour, the highest distinction that can be granted to a foreigner, to the leaders of the Rite from three countries: Romania, USA and Israel.
The rite in Romania is led by the Sovereign Grand Commander Stelian Nistor, who is thus taking the helm of the World Conference of the Scottish Rite of the Freemasonry starting May 23, 2020 until 2025.
“The international success definitely belongs to Romania. We are raising the inheritance of the masonic past at home (…) New responsibilities and challenges are ahead of us, this time at international level”, said Stelian Nistor.
