African swine fever outbreak confirmed in Dolj, the 15th county

An African swine fever outbreak has been confirmed on a pig in a household in Comanicea, Secu commune, Dolj County, the National Sanitary-Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) informed on Tuesday, confirming thus the spread of the disease to the 15th county.

An ANSVSA release informs that the household has been placed under supervision and restrictions on the movement of persons, animals and products, on the means of transportation have been imposed, as well as immediate disinfection.

According to the measures, a protection area with a 3 km range has been decided and a supervision area on a range of 10 km around the outbreak.
