Air France aircraft, forced stop on Otopeni Airport

Alert at the Otopeni International Airport Wednesday evening as an Air France flight from Thailand to Paris landed on the Henri Coanda International Airport due to a medical emergency.

The pilots announced the control tower that they had a medical emergency: a 43-year-old French woman told the flight attendants that she felt very sick, reports.

The woman was taken over by airport doctors, was stabilized and then taken by a SMURD crew to Floreasca Hospital for thorough investigations.

The plane resumed its flight to Paris after nearly two hours of forced stop in Bucharest.
