Another earthquake shakes Vrancea region

An earthquake with magnitude of 3.6 degrees on Richter scale occurred on Friday at 00.11h, in Vrancea region, at the depth of 89 km, the National Institute for Earth Physics (INFP) informs.

The closest towns to the epicenter are Nehoiu (34 km), Covasna (42 km), Întorsura Buzăului (54 km), Târgu Secuiesc (55 km) and Slănic-Moldova (57 km).

Eleven earthquakes with magnitude above 4 degrees took place this year in the counties of Vrancea and Buzau. The strongest quake occurred on January 9, of 4.4 degrees on Richter scale.
